Which is kind of amazing cause I don't remember the last time GH used a theme for a storyline. So I think this is really cool. And I could actually do more then just *flail* at the scene. This is defenlty a mob storyline. Ugh. OH GOD WHAT IF JAMES FRANCO'S CHARACTER IS ANOTHER LONG LOST CHILD OF SONNY'S. Why do I have a feeling it's gonna be nothing but crazy bat shit bi-polar weather until April/May?
In other news that's kind of making me all kinds of happy right now. I still have over $100 in my bank account and all the bills are paid for the month. I love not having a car note anymore. It's such a weight off me every month.

Will do a major update about all the shows coming back sometime this weekend. That is the third longest things I've watched (Y&R and DAYS are going on two decades now). And it's really breaking my heart to watch it go. Not only because it's still such a good show but because it's seen everything. Every major change this country has gone through since TV was born GL has been there and in some cases been a part of it.
So I haven't been updating LJ a lot these days. I've been very active on twitter (follow me @Fumbling81) though. I do have a couple of things to say. First I've lost a total of 15 pounds in the last couple of months. In fact I've lost so much weight I've dropped a size. I've worn a size 12 forever and now I wear a size 10. Actually I can fit into a size 8 but it's kind of snug. But go me for losing enough weight to drop a size. Speaking of things I'm proud to be a part of ontd_ai. AKA the comm that has eaten away at my net life the last couple of months. Back to why I'm so proud of ontd_ai. @AdamLambert set up a Donorschoose.org charity Adam Lambert Supports Education Then he issued a challenge to his different fan groups. The challenge started August 20 and ends September 20. So far OTND_AI has donated $19,455 IN ONLY ONE WEEK!. And in total Adam Lambert Supports Education has donated $56,399 IN ONE WEEK!!

Now for non Idol news. The other thing that has had me flailing all week. I've been calling it the HOLY SHIT SNP PROMO
<lj-embed id="8" />
Because HOLY SHIT!

Speaking of sharing I don't think I've pimped Cassidy Haley yet on LJ.
<lj-embed id="9" />
Did I mention that Cassidy is one of the co-founders of Skingraft Designs AKA the kick ass designers behind most of Adam Lambert's outfits on Idol and on the Tour.

Chilling here at alorarose's until she gets home from work. But at least I finally got my pictures from Cook's concert and MA uploaded. They are not resized because I'm not home until Thursday night.
David Cook Concert
GMA - KradamCook Concert

I have three or four videos I still need to upload yet. One of which is Adam's amazing new version of Starlight. Those should go up when I get home on Thursday or maybe Friday. Depending on how tired I am.

So this was my first David Cook concert, I didn't even do the Idol's tour last year. Which is funny considering how much I loved Cook last year. I guess it took the epic of Amerada to get me into this fandom. But I'm so so happy that did. Okay so back to my story. My flight didn't get into LGA until 2pm then I had to take the LIRR to get to alorarose and drop my stuff off. Then we took the next train out to Penn and walked to the Nokia. To say the line was long is an understatement. By the time we got there it was right before the Next To Normal theater. By the time we went in it was wrapped around that theater. But we still got pretty good seats (god bless my Dad for letting me steal his camera again). It might be the lack of a Buzz Fest for me in well over a year (okay's that's just wrong) but DAMN THAT WAS A KICK ASS ROCK SHOW!!!! And I really wasn't expecting it to be like that. But David's band is just amazing. And David brandering back and forth with the crowed was something I had been told about. And it was great. As was David and Andrew throwing picks at each other. Not even the very very drunk people next to us could bring me down from the high I was on after the show. Then we meet up with withoutmywingsx and her friends Tori,Erica,and Jill to head to Central Park.Vaidah headed home told me not get killed and we said good night. Most of the night was a blur even though I didn't get any actual sleep. Although I was in better shape the the other first I was with. They had all been up since 12am on Thursday camped out for David Cook's show. All I really remember is hearing Jill scream "Alex run" (her brother was with us too) at about 5am. Alex is the reason we got such a good place in line to go in. Cause everyone else was picking up stuff or waking people up. Wasn't cold anymore once we started moving either. That's the other thing I remember about that night was being cold. But it was so worth it. I live in Texas so this is probably one of the only times in my life I would be able to do this. So I'm really glad I got this expriance. It was also great meeting all these nice new people.

Ended up being sick yesterday because of something I ate at the bar the night before and drinking way too much. But I think I'm back to normal now. Got the Idols Live Tour on Wednesday and then I head home on Thursday to an empty house with the dogs.

My pictures from the Dallas Idols Live Concert

IDF Dallas Post Video is included. But I'm gonna post WLL here because OMFG.
Audio sucks but that's so not the point.

<lj-embed id="1354" />

So I got to the AAC about 3pm because I had overslept. Anyways I start walking to the back of the center where everyone seems to be coming from. I'm not sure what made me stop where I did other then the girl holding the Adam sign. But I did and I ended up meeting a really cool girl named Carissa. We actually spent the whole time before and after the concert together. We are both major Kradam fans. She had floor seats (which is what I have for the NY show next month) and i had seats in the 100s. The seats I had were not bad at all. But I really wanted to see everything up close which is the reason I just spent $300 on Floor seats. Moving on. The actual show was amazing. I wasn't sure how I would feel about the other idols that weren't Kris,Adam,and Allison. But everyone was really great.

Micheal wasn't one of my favorites but through his twitter I've just come to love him as a person. So I was actually really excited about seeing him live. And I have to say he killed on both his songs. Wasn't sure how well his cover of "Closer" would go over. But it really was great.

Next was Megan who's voice I think I like but it's hard to tell because she's not doing her own stuff. I've not a huge fan of that sound of music. But I'm willing to give her a change with her own stuff once she gets a change to do it. But OMG all the pink in her set just needs to go away. I was having flashbacks from my childhood.

You can ask my father or smiley_b Scott was my least favorite of them all. He's the one I actually didn't think belonged in the Top 36. I thought he was an okay piano player who couldn't care a tune. I'm not sure what kind of magic they worked on him but my option has 100% changed. His version on "Bend and Break" killed me dead. I just couldn't believe this was the same guy I was bitching about when got through to the top 13.

Now Lil's sound is R&B and my problem with R&B in this county (it's totally different in the UK and Australia) is they all sound the same. She sounds just like Mary J. or Beyonce or Alica Keys (only AK stands out because of her amazing piano playing). Lil is a good singer their is just nothing original about her voice.

Anoop is the one really started to get the audience going. I didn't realize how much I loved his voice until I got to see him live. He has his soulful R&B voice that I just love.

Next up is Matt who was my fourth favorite from the show. I knew before hand that he was doing Black Crow's "Hard to Handle" as his opening number. But I hadn't seen any YouTube vids of it. Where is Matt G love people? Anyways he killed it. It's probably my favorite song from his set. Although "You Found Me" comes in a very close second. I just love Matt sitting behind the piano singing. Hell I just love Matt period.

Then there was a group number that wasn't all that bad. Actually works better then DSB.

After intermission Allison was up first. And I'm not even sure where to start with her set. Other then how the hell is she only 17. Her presence on stage is just so strong. She also is 100% a rocker in case anyone had any doubts. Barracuda live is beyond anything that you could ever seen on the TV or YouTube. And I can't get over her voice it's just so damn. Just damn.

Okay so it's no secret I'm not a Danny fan as far as his music goes. He's a super sweet nice guy but his music is not for me. That being said I actually thought "Maria,Maria" was the best I've ever heard him sound. I think that type of music actually fits his voice better then anything else.

I'm not even sure how to put into words Adam or Kris's sets because they are just beyond words. Adam is just beyond anything I've ever seen before live. He holds nothing back and I do mean nothing. As energizing as Adam is some people feel it's hard to go from his set to Kris's. But for me Kris is just as energizing. It's such a natural transition for me to go from one to the other. Even though their sound is totally different. I'm not sure I actually have a favorite from either of there sets cause it's all just so great. Kris's "All These Things That I Have Done" is perfect. And I'm so glad that someone had the guts to speak up about NB being a horrible song for Kris. And Adam's Bowie number is just beyond words. I've said this before on ontd_ai but I'll say it again. I'm so glad that mgt for the tour knows what they have in Adam and gave him free rain to do what ever the hell he wanted.

I've seen ever single YouTube vid on the stop so far of DSB. To say I have had it with the song is an under statement. But that totally didn't matter when it came to the live show. I was so pumped that I couldn't help but sing along. And yes there was the epic Kradam moment as always. As well as a Kratt moment after the song is over.

<lj-embed id="1355" />

Yes for those of you that are wondering Matt did indeed smack Kris's ass as they were walking off stage. He also did it on fan request later that night.

Speaking of after the show I meet up with Carissa again who so kindly got us a spot by the door. (which actually turned out to be the wrong place to be for Adam) I think we waited about an hour and half before they started to come out. And we were all smashed together and it's Texas and still 80F outside. To say we were hot was an understatement. The conversation was also really interesting to say the least. AAC security guard was cool though. Anyways I had my tour book ready to get signed. And I got everyone to sign it but Scott and Adam. Anoop was the first one out then Megan. They both went kind of fast through the line which is understandable given they have to be gone by midnight. Then came Danny who is a really really nice guy. There was a little boy at my feet with a sign who couldn't be seen. So we were all kind of getting our stuff signed and then made sure Danny saw there was a kid down there. He was really sweet to him too. Then came Kris who is hotter close up then in any picture you've ever seen of him. He had someone with his so he could go through the line fast but he was still sweet to anyone that talked to him. Then came Matt who does not move fast through the line in fact Matt is crowd whore. And I mean that in the best possible way because I adore him. He even got on the phone with Carissa's friend in LA. At some point Kris and Matt meet up in the line and I just happen to be looking that way. Because I see Matt smack Kris's ass for the second time that night. This time I'm guessing on fan request. Scott and Michael were also out. Michael was sweet and nice to talked to everyone. Scott didn't make it our way. Then Adam came out for like three minutes on the other side of the line. Which I totally understand why Adam is only out for a short time after what happen in San Diego. It's so sad that some fans can't be respectful.

Well that about raps up my recap from Dallas. Will do another one for the NY show next month. And my seats are right next up to the stage. So my pictures will be much better.

So I'm back from Dallas and I had a blast. The concert was beyond amazing. And I will do a full post tomorrow with pictures and videos. But there are two things I need to share first. One I just bought floor seats (SC1 R10) for the New York Idol show. Gonna be in town anyways for alorarose's birthday. So we are going together my treat. It's the least I can do seeing this is my obsession. We are still trying to get tickets to Rock of Ages but right now the prices are just too high.

And the second thing I just had share was from an EW.com interview with Russell T Davies. <lj:music>Rescue Me</lj:music>

So it's been a interesting couple of days at work to say the least. But before I get to that I have to share this wonderful Twitter post from Y&R start Michael Muhrey.

So work has been interesting. On Sunday the A/C in the store went out from the storm we had the night before. And if that wasn't enough I step out for lunch and not two minutes later all hell breaks loose. Turns out the main PC that runs my Printer for the lab burned itself up. You can even seem the burned smoky smell in the lab. So I open a ticket and wait for HC to call by. Short call cause they know it's a DTR problem now. And poor Adrian had to take apart two broken computers to make a new PC that works. But we were up and running by about noon yesterday. So of course I spent the rest of the day playing catch up. But all seems to be well again with my machines. For now at least.

I just refreshed the page and it's now up to 70 pages of comments. I think page 7 took two whole minutes to load all the pictures in the comments.

So it's kind of been a depressing week in my RL. Over the weekend a family friend lost is three year battle with cancer. Then I get up Tuesday morning and Dad's already up. Someone broke into the Clinic again. This is like the second time in a month. And they don't even take anything just break the glass door. Which is getting costly to keep replacing. Then I come home from work to a message from serendipityxxi that her Gran has died. Which is when I really kind of just fell apart. Cause Jo's my best friend and not being able to be there for her right now is killing me. I think that's why I've spent the last two hours in the above mentioned post. Because it's keeping my mind off other things.

Oh for anyone that's interested. American Idols Live Tour 09 Playlist on YouTube. I'm still going through the last couple of shows. Also if anyone is interested in the 600 tour pictures I've gotten so far from well just about everyone. Let me know and I'll do a zip post.

Finally got around to watching Torchwood: Children Of Earth last night. Will do a full post later about it once I get my thoughts together. But those five episodes were one of the best things I've seen on TV all year. Took the day off from work today cause I just wanted to sleep in for once. Kind of glade I did. Now I can play catch up on LJ and everything else I'm been so behind on.

Also just found out from my Mom that a family friend (known him all my life) just died of cancer. It wasn't unexpected but it's still so damn sad. My heart goes out to his kids and his wife right now. I can't even imagine anything happening to one of my parents.
